Opinion:

Pros:

I really like the way this light is designed overall. I love how simple it is. You have either momentary or constant on or off. There are no fancy settings that you have to shift through just to get your flashlight on. Also, I obviously like a two way pocket clip and the usage of a standard AAA battery, so I will just leave it at that. Another thing that I have noticed is that the aluminum has been very durable. The MicroStream has thankfully not taken to many falls but it definitely sees some contact with other items in my pocket. Many times I pull it out and it looks like it is pretty roughed up with wear and scratches. Then as soon as I wipe it with my thumb it quickly clears right up. In conjunction with this I really like how it feels in my hand, be it the actual material or the shape and grooves. Lastly, while I think that I would prefer the lumens to be slightly higher I find the 45 Lm to be enough for most of my tasks.

Cons:

There are only a couple of small complaints I have with this light, starting with the difficulty in fully pressing the tail switch. It definitely takes some real pressure to push past the momentary setting and actually turn the light on. I understand that this helps ensure that the MicroStream does not get turned on when you don't want it, but I wish it was just a little bit easier. The other thing I want to point out is that I wish the body was maybe a fourth of an inch longer at max. This would help get a more full grip on the light and might also help alleviate some of the difficulty activating the switch.

Conclusion:

Like I said I like this light overall and can ignore the two small issues that I pointed out. It has proven to be a really solid EDC pocket friendly flashlight and I have been truly impressed by the build and design. I find that for the most part the MicroStream fits my hand exactly where I need it to.
